A NIFTY thrifter showed his followers how he stumbled upon the holy grail of suits at a Goodwill.
Thrifting for fashion finds can be fun, but it could also be a lucrative money-saving strategy.

One TikToker hit the jackpot when he found a suit from a luxury clothing brand.
The user (@surfsupfinds) calls himself a thrifter enthusiast and found what he deemed the “best thrift store” he’s been to this year.
REGAL RALPH
He walked into the Goodwill store and left with some great finds.
His favorite snag from the thrift was a classic suit from Ralph Lauren, and he told his followers the key giveaway was its purple label.
He realized the brand when he turned the coat over and saw the label on the inside.
Once he looked it up online, he discovered it was the Kent-Hand Tailored Wool Gabardine worth $4,000.

“You guys have to keep a lookout for this label because it’s worth big bucks,” he said.
Yet the price tag on the Goodwill suit read $9.99.
“For only $10, no doubt I’m picking it up,” he said.
Then he was thrilled to find another Ralph Lauren suit hanging right behind the first one.
Sure enough, it had the purple label too.
“Now I know I won’t be able to get $4,000 a piece for these,” he said.
“But for $10 a piece, I’ll definitely be able to get a few hundred dollars on eBay.”
One version of the suit sells on eBay for $567.21.
“I’ve sold these for $600-$700 easy,” one person commented on the video.
“Why would someone give away a $4,000 suit?” another user asked.
“People that have money don’t care,” the thrifter replied. “Lost weight, donate.”
MORE FINDS
While the suits were the highlight of his trip, the TikToker shared some other Goodwill items he picked up.
“Buying and reselling clothing now for eight years, I know soccer jerseys hit great,” he said.
He noted how it’s important to check details on the clothing to make sure it’s legitimate.
He found an Adidas Argentina goalie jersey from 2005, predicting it to be worth $75.
Next, he spotted a Harley Davidson t-shirt that was only $3. “I usually sell these [for] around $20 he said.”
Then he made his way down the jeans aisle and found some denim pairs from the Perfect Jean brand.
He said there were three in a row each selling for $8.
“I’ve sold two this year already for $30 each so they were a for-sure pickup,” he said.
MORE THRIFTING
Another lucky Goodwill patron said they found an $8 pair of shoes that turned out to be worth $300.
The strappy boots were sitting in a bin with defective items.
After a Google search, the thrifter discovered they were from the Freebird brand, which makes hand-crafted, hand-finished boots.
A Goodwill employee explained to the customer how they sold for cheap since they were in poor condition.
A $45 butterfly brooch was worth $1,200 from its hidden mark.
Meanwhile, a $5 beanie baby from the 1990s was worth $4,000.
