AFTER a slimy Costco product was found in her maple syrup, a mother was left shell-shocked.
The consumer was shocked to find out her food product was possibly contaminated.
A Costco customer took to social media to share her experience after her maple syrup bottle had something inside it that she did not pay for.
Rese (@resereneenyc) posted on TikTok, revealing the horrors that poured out of her Kirkland maple syrup bottle.
BREAKFAST FLOP
One morning while preparing breakfast for her daughter, Rese made a vile discovery.
“Tik Tok, that looks like snakeskin,” she said in her video showing several pictures of a scaly shedding covered in syrup on a pancake.
“It came out of a Costco Kirkland maple syrup bottle. That is my daughter’s pancake. Please share this and help us.”
She tagged Costco in the caption, saying “We’re disgusted and concerned. Please advise and assist with this.”
“This is so gross wow!” one person commented. “This need[s] to go viral ASAP.”
The U.S. Sun contacted Costco to request a comment.
COSTCO CHAOS
Rese isn’t the only person using social media to blast Costco and expose its products.
Another customer said they “felt sick” after they found something hairy and prickly poking out from their muffin.
“I had bought a pack of raspberry little muffin cakes, I believe, from the bakery at Costco,” shopper Shauntella Lires said on TikTok.
After she took a couple of bites out of the muffin, she ripped it in half.
That’s when she found the small, thin object she couldn’t identify.
She had no idea what it was but described its texture as very “hard” and “weird.”
One person commented on her video saying it looked like a bug’s leg.
In another confession, a Redditor said they found a latex glove inside their Costco muffin and asked what they should do to report it.
Some users replied saying they should immediately notify the store manager, while others said they didn’t think it was a big deal.

Costco confirmed all stores nationwide are closing for the day on March 31.
