A TRADER Joe’s employee clued shoppers into what certain bell sounds signify during their shopping runs.

Social media is home to insights from fast food workers or supermarket industry revelations.

One TikToker appearing as a Trader Joe’s worker said it’s no coincidence when customers often hear bells while browsing aisles.

The user Sophie (@romiee.e) described how each chime serves different purposes to replace traditional loudspeakers.

“One bell means we need to open up another register,” she wrote in her video.

Two bells signal a worker needs help from another crew member.

The last type of sound, three bells, is reserved for when an employee needs a manager’s help.

Trader Joe’s confirmed these claims on its website.

Sophie added that the staff at her store loved it whenever customers would start bagging their items.

BAG SNAG

Trader Joe’s recently announced it ran out of its iconic Mini Canvas Tote Bags, causing shoppers to take serious measures.

The bags come in four different colors for $2.99, but consumers flocked to eBay after Trader Joe’s supply ran out.

Some totes are even selling for $1,000, and while some customers may be giving in, others are saying the price is ludicrous.

“It’s a bag people, grow up,” one person wrote on Facebook.

“Our customers, in our stores, are our focus; we do not endorse the re-sale of any of our products, anywhere,” Trader Joe’s told The U.S. Sun in a written statement.

The supermarket chain is expected to restock their tote bags in late summer.

RECALL ROUNDUP

Trader Joe’s confirmed its second product recall in March, pulling cashew snacks off store shelves due to salmonella concerns.

Consumers who recently purchased roasted or salted cashew bags from the store should watch out for these numbers:

  • T12139
  • T12140
  • T12141
  • T12142

Lot numbers are often found next to the bag’s nutrition information.

The bags also list Vietnam and India as countries of origin.

Several states across the US have been impacted by product recalls at Trader Joe’s, including:

  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • Alabama
  • Colorado
  • California
  • Idaho
  • Kansas
  • Louisiana
  • Nevada
  • New Mexico
  • Oklahoma
  • Oregon
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Washington
