AN ex-Dairy Queen employee has revealed a heart-shattering secret.

User Essie (@babbescas) claimed to be a former fast food worker spilled her confession on TikTok.

A TikToker said when she worked at Dairy Cream, employees didn’t remove whipped cream from shakes if the customer asked[/caption]

She replied to a video where someone imitated a Dairy Queen worker who threw a customer’s milkshake after a whipped cream mishap.

She admitted a secret she and her coworkers did if customers said they “didn’t want whipped cream” after grabbing their shake.

“We would take it back and run it through the blender again without taking any whipped cream off the top,” she said in her video.

“Just mix the whipped cream into it and give it right back to you.”

“So if I was allergic to whip [cream] and you d**n near kill me that’s a major lawsuit,” one person said.

Another user commented saying they had the same experience with Sonic.

One person claimed Starbucks would do it too, while another former Dairy Queen worker had a different story,

“We scrape it off and put on a flat lid at my DQ,” they said.

“Who doesn’t want whipped cream?” asked one user. “I asked for it and they didn’t put it on. Sad day.”

“They want us to scoop it off but man, our shakes at my place are known for our presentation so I mix it.”

SHAKE TREATS

The U.S. Sun contacted International Dairy Queen, Inc. to request a comment.

Dairy Queen’s menu has a variety of blended beverages to choose from.

The franchise offers a limited-time Mint Brownie Blizzard treat with chew brownie chunks and a cool mint flavor.

There’s a variety of different regular shake options customers can add malt to:

  • Under The Rainbow
  • Chocolate
  • Vanilla
  • Hot Fudge
  • Peanut Butter
  • Strawberry
  • Banana
  • Caramel

Foodies can also order a MooLatté with mocha, caramel, or vanilla.

A MooLattés has Dairy Queen soft serve mixed in with flavored syrups.

MooLattés are $6.99 according to UberEats, but be sure to check with the store locator as prices vary by region.

MORE SECRETS

Another ex-Dairy Queen worker shared why workers flip Blizzard treats when they serve them to customers, and it’s all about quality.

They shared a post on Reddit and said the twirled handover ensured each Blizzard came out the creamiest and thickest it could be.

It would also prove if the ice cream machine was working, and Dairy Queen states it has a quality assurance policy on its website.

“Served upside down or the next one’s free,” the company advertises, although it is not confirmed every store participates in this offer.

Meanwhile, 5,700 Dairy Queen locations closed down indefinitely and without notice.
