This follows the fast food chain closing three other Kentucky locations:
- 4645 Spring Grove Avenue, Spring Grove Village
- 1575 W. Galbraith Road, North College Hill
- 4016 Dixie Highway, Erlanger
There’s still a restaurant in Covington that’s open, according to the chain’s website.
It’s located on Kyles Lane, but now foodies in Kentucky have one less spot to choose from.
FRISCH FAREWELL
A Frisch’s Fort Wright restaurant worker told The U.S. Sun that the company’s Fifth Street location closed last Sunday.
A sign was plastered on the store’s front door that read, “This restaurant is permanently closed. Please visit us at another Frisch’s Big Boy.”
The U.S. Sun reached out to Frisch’s Big Boy for more information.
The chain was founded by Dave Frisch in 1939 and has since become a midwestern staple.
It’s known for the iconic ceramic “big boy” statue that greets customers at each location.
The restaurant chain serves breakfast all day.
Menu items include the Big Boy’s Big Breakfast with eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, and Texas Toast.
There’s also the Breakfast Burrito with a choice of bacon or sausage.
Side options range from crinkle-cut fries to onion rings, cole slaw, vegetable soup, and mac & cheese.
