A COSTCO customer shared their thoughts about limited food court security.
Costco recently implemented a membership crackdown by reserving the food court to members only, but not all stores followed suit.

The anonymous user posted their complaint on a Costco subreddit responding to another user’s question.
They asked why it was mandatory to have a Costco membership for food court access, as this prevented them from buying the iconic, cheap hot dog.
“Come to mine,” the user replied. “Open to all.”
“Hence the lot is full of hot rodding high schoolers and the court is full of teens. Not a time to go.”
More users hopped on the bandwagon.
“It’s not fair to people who pay for a membership if anyone can go and use those services/eat there,” one person added.
Another user said Costco’s membership fee is, “100% profit.”
They said closing the food court off is an effective business strategy to ensure people pay for memberships.
